Clever idea for a book. This will make for great inspiration for my Artists Books class this summer.
I wont say too much about this delicious looking design created by Viction:ary, mainly because every other design blog has already featured it. I love it so much though I couldn’t pass it up.
How perfectly quirky is this book? I not only want to buy it, but I want to eat it too! It is really lovely.

Spotted, another VT logo in Boston! I was riding the T today with this New England School of Photography ad directly in front of me. Check the swim cap, she is definitely rocking a VT logo on there.

A commission I both started and finished yesterday. I can’t take credit for the phrase/idea, but it was definitely a fun little project.

I went to Plymouth, MA last week and was drawn to a lot of the typography on the signage and old burial grounds. It was neat to see how well the inscriptions and reliefs had aged as well as how the type interacts with the sun to create shadow effects.
Mental note…must not do this in my presentation on Wednesday. Although if one of the reviewers has a top hat and mustache, it would be awesome.
